Privacy Policy — Travel Pack

This policy explains what data the Travel Pack app ("the app") collects, why, and how it is handled. Travel Pack is a hobby app that lets you create packing lists and share them with other people for collaborative editing.

Data we collect

The app collects only what it needs to sign you in and store your lists:

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account identifier (UID). We use these to identify you, to store your lists under your account, and to share lists by email.
• Your content. The packing lists, sections, and items you create — including their names and checked/unchecked state — and the email addresses you add as members when you share a list.

The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers for advertising, or any analytics/usage tracking. The app contains no ads.

How we use your data

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To store, sync, and display your packing lists across your devices in real time.
• To share lists with the people you explicitly invite by email and let everyone with access edit them collaboratively.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Travel Pack has no custom server. Authentication and data storage are provided by Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Your data is stored on Google's infrastructure and protected by Firebase security rules that restrict each list to its members. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS).

Sharing with other users

When you share a list, the members you invite can see that list's contents and the email addresses of other members of that list. Only the list owner can remove members.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account and lists exist. You can:

• Delete individual lists from within the app, which removes their sections and items.
• Request full account deletion — email play@plocharz.info and we will delete your account data (your email/UID association and the lists you own). Lists owned by other users that merely list you as a member are controlled by those owners.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
